What is Mounjaro?
Discover Mounjaro, the innovative weight loss injection now authorized for weight management in the UK. Originally developed as a treatment for type 2 diabetes, Mounjaro features Tirzepatide as its active ingredient, offering promising results in weight loss and control.
At Mounjaro, we understand that individual needs vary, which is why our pens are available in different dosage options. Working closely with your healthcare provider, we’ll help determine the most suitable dosage to align with your treatment plan.
Explore dosage options:
For new patients, the journey typically begins with a 2.5mg dosage, advancing to 5mg after 4 weeks. From there, we collaborate to assess whether adjustments to higher doses, ranging from 7.5mg to 15mg, are necessary. With each dosage change, a 4-week period ensures a smooth transition.
Mounjaro weight loss injections are powered by Tirzepatide, a potent compound that mimics the actions of two pivotal hormones: glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) and glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide (GIP).
How does Mounjaro work?
These hormones play a crucial role in regulating digestion by slowing down the process, allowing food to remain in the digestive system longer. Additionally, they act as natural appetite suppressants, prolonging the feeling of fullness and naturally reducing food intake
Clinical studies have demonstrated the impressive efficacy of Mounjaro in aiding weight loss. After 9 months of consistent usage, patients experienced a remarkable 15% reduction in weight.
Discover the effectiveness of Moujaro
Moreover, upon the authorization of Mounjaro pens for weight management in the UK, the MHRA unveiled compelling findings from extensive clinical trials spanning 16 months. These trials revealed that patients utilizing Tirzepatide achieved weight loss of up to 20%.
